Preventive measure: temporarily limitation of use of Medido services

21 October 2026

Due to a worldwide serious security threat within PHP- programming language also used by Evondos- we have taken the precautionary step of temporarily disabling certain functionalities of our Medido service.

This measure aligns with the guidance from CERT-EU, which has recommended that organizations temporarily restrict access to potentially vulnerable systems until security updates become available.

It is important to note that no security incident has occurred at Evondos, and no data breach has been detected. These measures are purely preventive.

What this means for Medido services:

    • Medication dispensing: Medication dispensing through the Medido Medicine Clock will continue as normal.
    • Notifications: Notifications from the dispenser are being sent as normal.
    • Medido portal: Access to the Medido portal may be limited.
    • Registration: Registering new clients may experience delays.
    • Activation: Activating a dispenser is currently only possible by contacting Customer Service. Activation through QR-code is temporarily unavailable.
    • Self Service: For customers participating in the Self Service pilot, the self service is temporarily unavailable.

Please note that there may be other partners affected by this threat as well.

Our technical teams are closely monitoring the situation. Once the necessary security updates are available and implemented , the temporarily disabled functionalities will be restored.

Evondos is working hard to ensure the impact on Medido services remains to a minimum. We want to emphasize that these are preventive measures, and we will keep you updated on any further developments.
